Before updating, always backup your site. In PrestaShop admin, disable and uninstall the old version. Install the new version by uploading the updated ZIP file. Re-enable and reconfigure the module.

Go to the Generator page, enter your module technical name (lowercase, no spaces), display name, version, and description. Select the features you need (admin controller, front office, hooks, database tables, etc.). Click "Generate Module" to download a ready-to-use ZIP file.

Generated modules include: PSR-12 compliant code, proper module structure with controller, configuration page, custom hooks, database tables (if selected), multi-language support, AJAX support, and .htaccess with security headers.

Yes! The generated module is yours to use. You can use it in your client projects, sell it, or modify it. However, you cannot claim the generator tool itself as your product.
